SCA Copywriter Mentor, Caroline Hampstead

Caroline is an award-winning copywriter, D&AD judge and valued Faculty Mentor at SCA. She's mentored hundreds of our students to creative career success and has had a hand in many of our Black Pencil wins. 

Ansley Saldana

SCA Craft Mentor, Ian Hands

A self-confessed stickler for detail, Ian is the 'go-to' for all things craft. We dare you to find a creative area he doesn't have experience in. If its a killer portfolio you're after, Mr Hands is your man.

Richard has worked at and been kicked out of some of the world's top agencies. Known for the Honda ads Power of Dreams Campaign, he takes real joy in enthusing and inspiring young creatives.

How SCA Surgery Works

10:00 am

Sign up and tell us what you need help with; whether it be help with your portfolio or landing your first art direction role, the more information you provide the more we can help.

11:00 am

Choose an hour time slot that works for you; we'll be open between 1.30pm-6.30pm, give us your preferred time slot, tell us how long you can stay for and we'll sort a schedule for you.

12:00 pm

Get a match with your perfect mentor; Based on the information provided, we'll match you with a faculty member that can offer the best advice and help. 

1:00 pm

Turn up and meet your mentor; Bring a laptop, share your work and our mentors will review, advise and offer top tips and recommendations to help you reach your goals.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your laptop or tablet with your Portfolio ready for review. We're happy to review your website or slides.

Are there team discounts? 

Is it completely free?

Yes. The event is completely free! If you know anyone else who would benefit from The SCA Surgery, please share. The more the merrier!

Are tickets refundable?

Will I see more than one mentor?

Each mentoring session will last around 20 minutes, therefore the more time you can spend with us, the more mentors we can schedule for you to see.

Are tickets transferable?

Why all the information?!

The more we can learn about you, the more our mentors can build a clear picture about you, your situation and how best to help you. Please be honest and provide as much info as you're happy to share.
